How do I re-authenticate Ambassador's Salesforce Package?

Last Updated: Nov 30, 2016 05:01PM EST

Overview

Occasionally you will need to re-authenticate your Ambassador Salesforce package, also known as refreshing your token. This may happen because the package’s running user has changed their password or was deactivated in your Ambassador system.

How do I refresh my token?

To re-authenticate your Ambassador Salesforce package, you will first want to navigate to the “Ambassador Setup” object. When you click on the object, if it asks you to log in, please do so using your Ambassador credentials.

If you are not asked to log in, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Start by navigating to the Salesforce Setup menu.

Step 2: Next, under “App Setup,” you’ll click the “Develop” drop-down menu and select “Custom Settings.”

Step 3: Click “Manage” next to “Ambassador Settings.”

Step 4: Click “Edit” next to “Ambassador Settings.”

Step 5: Uncheck “Is Connected” and click “Save” in the top right corner.

Step 6: You’ll now navigate back to the “Ambassador Setup” object and log in using your Ambassador credentials.

You have now re-authenticated your Ambassador Salesforce package!
