Dashboard Overview

Overview

The "Dashboard" section of your account allows you to drill into the performance of your programs and campaigns over time.

By default, the dashboard will display data across all campaigns over the last 30 days. If you use the date or campaign selector in the top-left corner, you can further filter the data. This is especially helpful for analyzing the effectiveness of a particular engagement tactic.

For example, if you promote the referral program on your social channels, you will likely notice a spike in the number of ambassadors enrolled. As you share more posts with a call-to-action for the referral program, you can determine which ones drive the most activity.

What is included in the dashboard?

The graph at the top of the dashboard provides an overview of your program based on various data points.

  • Ambassadors: These are contacts that are enrolled in your program. Please note, in the dashboard, the total is reflective of ambassadors enrolled in the time frame selected.

  • Shares: The action of an ambassador sharing their link via email, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Please note, this number is reflective of shares from the portal, Refer-a-Friend module(s) and API only.

  • Clicks: The action of individuals clicking on your ambassadors’ referral links. Please note, if the same person clicks a link multiple times, each click counts.

  • Referrals: The number of unique individuals that have completed the event that you are tracking, such as a purchase or demo request. Please note, if you are utilizing a gated welcome message for your program, any referred user who enters their email address into the email gate will count as a referral.

  • Revenue: Calculated by the total of each purchase as passed through to Ambassador. Please note, this number is reflective of revenue from approved commissions only.

  • ‚ÄčCommissions: A reward for a successful referral. Please note, this number is reflective of approved commissions only. If you've enabled recurring commissions in your campaign(s), this number will include both single and recurring event commissions.

Tip: If you need a refresher on these definitions, you can use the "Learn More" button in the top-right corner show help text.

To change the graph view, simply click on the box for the stat you want to review and the graph will update. If you hover over the box for a specific data point, you will also see the all-time calculation.

Additionally, you can also see trend data to the right of the graph name.
