How do I set up Dwolla?

Overview


Dwolla is a payment network that allows you to securely send cash via a bank-to-bank transfer. Once configured in Ambassador, you can easily send payouts to your ambassadors via Dwolla. 


How do I connect my Dwolla account?


Follow these steps to set up Dwolla as a payment method in Ambassador. Please note, if you do not have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one. 

Step 1: In the navigation menu on the left, click "Payouts."

 


 
Step 2: In the top right corner, click “Configure Payments.” You’ll be taken here.
 



Step 3: Under "Payment Methods," hover your mouse over Dwolla and you’ll see a blue button appear. Click “Configure.” 
 
 

 
Step 4: On the Dwolla integration page, click “Link Integration.” 

 

 

Step 5: You’ll be asked to either create a Dwolla account or “Log in” if you have an existing account. If you’re creating an account, enter your credentials and click “Agree and continue.” 

 


 
Step 6: On the next screen, authorize Ambassador by clicking “Allow.” 

 


 
Step 7: You’ll receive a separate email from Dwolla to verify your email address and enter your bank information. After doing so, you’ll receive a PIN that you’ll enter in Ambassador. Click the “Save Changes” button when complete.
